Castoff Pet Rescue currently has another 3-legged kitten in foster care and this is her story.

This little beauty is Autumn.  The vet’s think her front leg was chopped off by the fan blade of car engine.  Her back leg was also injured—the Achilles tendon was sliced—but she is using the leg just fine.  Her front leg wound healed without surgery so they decided not to do the complete amputation until she is spayed, which will be soon.  Right now there is just a stump on her right front leg.  She is adorable and so lucky to have been rescued.  She is being housed with her sister, Maple, another torti and just as cute.

This kitten is Maple, Autumn’s sister.  Maple, who is uninjured, is keeping Autumn company.  Maple will also soon be spayed and available for adoption – hopefully with her sister.
