Halo, our Hero cat featured in the Best Friends special members mailing, was adopted as a result!

Halo was one of nine cats left uncared for when their person died.  She was pregnant when we trapped her so she raised her litter and then raised five more litters during her stay in foster care.  She was semi-feral when she was trapped but became a very lively and playful, affectionate and docile cat.

Her new person has many years experience working with rescues in his area (Chattanooga, TN) to help cats.  Halo has joined his existing cat family, thanks to one of our Castoff Pet Rescue volunteers Carl Haines for driving Halo to her new home.

Her new person takes wonderful care of his cats.  Some are special needs, including one born deformed.  Halo has a great new, very loving home and was welcomed by her new family.
