Harvey was living with a Castoff Pet Rescue foster family since May of 2013. Then in late November his lucky day arrived! He was spotted on our adoptable dogs listing by a family in Massachusetts who are also CPR supporters. After learning more about Harvey, they decided he would be a good fit for their family!

After handling the adoption paperwork long distance, they arranged for his trip north with a pet transport company. Then two days after Harvey left Georgia, Harvey’s mom drove to Connecticut to shorten his ride on the transport and meet him for the very first time! Harvey was almost home and just before Christmas!

Harvey’s mom says “Harvey is doing fantastic here and we love him. He is getting along well with his new sister, Zoey, who was adopted by our family in January 2012 from a local foster program”.
