CPR’s kitten foster mom has had some challenges lately.

One of our mama cats gave birth to eight babies, then suffocated all but two of them with her hefty weight. The two little 4-day-old babies that survived had to be hand fed by the foster mom every two hours day and night.
Then three more bottle babies arrived, abandoned on a front porch! Fortunately Fat Alice, the mom who failed with her newborns, is now successfully raising these three 6-week-old kittens.
Even better news – a new mom arrived with four newborns and was happy to take an additional two, freeing our foster mom from round-the-clock feedings for the newborns.

Castoff Pet Rescue tries to never turn away very pregnant stray cats, cats with babies, or motherless babies.
